My "Ugly Kid" series is originally based on the idea of outsiders and weirdos and how they are content with their weirdness and self-image. I like to incorporate imagery from the 90's, old westerns, and tattoo culture. I like to think these visual elements from different periods and subcultures combine to reflect my identity. I use ink, watercolor, acrylic paint, and digital processes to get vibrant color schemes on a variety of media. I hope people find my work amusing and are reminded that it's okay to be a weirdo.
