When I was a little girl, I spent many hours sitting by my father's side...watching him create. He's a very talented artist and I was amazed at the things he could do. While his mainstay was drawing unbelievable, life-like art with prismacolor pencils, he delved in to many mediums over the years. I relished each new venture he made and would even try my hand at a few of them, with his guidance. I would go on to have my mom teach me to sew, my sister teach me to crochet, and my great-grandmother teach me to embroider. Creativity all around me!
So, it seems I'm following in my father's footsteps, trying out different mediums. I came across the world of fluid art about a year ago and have fallen in love. It has allowed me to express myself through art, in a completely different way, and it's been extremely satisfying.
I specialize in functional pieces like coasters, table tops, and keepsake boxes. I also use the paint overflow, otherwise referred to as "skins", for unique pieces of jewelry.
Fluid art is my jam.
