Claude Monet once said, "Color is my day-long obsession, joy and torment." I'm a color addict as well and infuse it into all my paintings. The texture and viscosity -- the creamy and liberal application of color to canvas ignites the same joy within my heart of which Monet spoke. In addition, I create with driftwood I've discovered along the shores of Lake Superior. - mobiles that are able to be placed on the porch to enjoy or will also move easily inside one's home. In short, I create with a wide range of materials, bones, cigar boxes, stones. My passion is fueled by art history and the incredible trail-blazers who influence all artists in some form or fashion.
